Cookie and storage choices
The site uses essential storage for cookie preferences and form/session functionality. Optional analytics help us understand calculator usage, quote-flow starts, directory clicks, and report requests.
- Rejecting optional analytics does not block access to calculators, guides, builder pages, or quote forms.
- The cookie preference itself is stored so the site can remember the visitor choice.
- Global Privacy Control signals are treated as a rejection of optional analytics when no prior preference exists.
Analytics and calculator logs
When optional analytics are accepted, the site may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity and may keep limited first-party usage records.
- Events may include page path, calculator type, broad estimate outputs, button clicks, form start/submit events, and interaction signals such as clicks, scrolls, heatmaps, or session replay data.
- Quote and builder forms are masked so contact details and private project notes are not intentionally captured by session-replay tools.
- The analytics session is not used to sell ads or run cross-site behavioral advertising.
- Optional analytics stay off until you accept them. Advertising trackers are not currently enabled.
Quote and vendor records
Project and builder forms ask for permission to store your submission and respond to it. We also record when you gave that permission.
- We review each project brief before considering a builder introduction.
- Vendor profile requests are stored for review and are not published as verified without a documented review method.
- Private form records are not published on public pages.
Your choices and questions
You can reject optional analytics and still use the calculators, guides, directory, and forms. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact [email protected].
- Cookie consent is separate from project-form consent.
- Project details are shared with builders only when the separate sharing option is selected. The U.S. planning-pack journey identifies the recipient before you consent; requesting a pack alone does not authorize builder sharing or marketing. Private pack links expire after 90 days. Partner access is limited to the authorized project and can be revoked when the agreement ends.
- We keep personal information only as long as needed for the request, legal obligations, security, and record keeping.
